World Sparrow Day celebrated on March 20th each year is an initiative of Nature Forever Society. In less than four years, World Sparrow Day has become immensely popular and is celebrated in more than 40 countries across the globe and is gaining popularity in Europe and parts of south Asia. Nature Forever Society has created a dedicated website to spread awareness about World Sparrow Day: www.worldsparrowday.org. This website has a rare collection of photographs and information of twenty-two species of sparrows found across the world.
